Kwaw Kese’s case adjourned to February 5

The case of allegedly smoking weed in public involving Rapper Emmanuel Botwe popularly known as Kwaw Kese has been adjourned again today.

The Circuit Court at K.M.A has today adjourned Kwaw Kese’s case to February 5, 2015.

Prosecutor Chief Supt. Emmanuel Akonnor who was supposed to open trial failed to present witnesses to the case in court this morning compelling sitting judge William Boampong to adjourn the case.

Lawyer for the accused, Nana Kwasi Boatey agreed with prosecutor that the case be adjourned to enable his client also seek intensive medical treatment from his doctors in Accra as he was granted bail on December 30, 2014 on medical grounds.

Presiding Judge, His honour William Boampong however agreed with prosecution and defense counsels and adjourned the case to the 5 Feb.2015.

Kwaw Kesse who appeared in court today with his lawyer looked very composed and very gentle in his shirt, jeans and sneakers to match and covered his eyes with dark shades.

He was arrested by the Police in Kumasi on November 22, 2014 for allegedly smoking wee in public.
