NPP and NDC clash over urinal

Members of the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC) and the opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP) have clashed over the construction of a urinal facility at the Wenchi Market at the Brong Ahafo Region.
Citi News correspondent Kwadwo Brefo reported that some candidates in Wenchi are fighing over who has the right to build a urinal facility in the Wenchi market.According to him, an NPP aspiring candidate, Yakubu Ahmed clashed with incumbent NDC assembly member, Abu Mohamed over the building of the urinal facility at the market.
Yakubu is accusing Mohamed of masterminding the halting of the project but Mohamed has denied the claims.
Kwadwo Brefo said Mr Yakubu decided to construct the urinal facility at the district market after the assembly member for the Wenchi electoral area failed to do so, despite promising the people during his campaign.
This tussle, according to the correspondent is believed to be triggered by the upcoming district assembly election slated to take place on March 3, 2015.
