Finally, the nominees for the 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards are out. At the Launch of the annual Music Awards yesterday at the La Palm Beach Hotel, astute Showbizers attended it in style to grace their Industry.

There were barrage reactions from those present and fans of Artists who were monitoring the nomination lists via the Social Media. Whilst some very pleased with the nominees in the various categories, others were furious, asking ‘why-not-him-why-not-her’. One Artist who has publicly displayed his ‘discontentment’ with his nominations is the ex Lynx Entertainment member, ASEM.

The old student of Ghana Institute of Journalism, Asem has never been pleased ever since he surfaced in the Music Industry in Ghana. Every year, the Songster is ‘smart’ enough to recognize the ills of the nomination lists.

This year has not been any different for the ‘Last Fylla’ composer as he displayed his acrimony via his Twitter page which has the handle @asemworld. To his 15,630, Asem poked his fans with a good morning greeting and went ahead. He tweeted, “Good Morning guys, happy Sunday, Are u Awake? If u r tell a friend to tell another friend to wake up, I’m about to go in, #VGMA” (unedited tweet from Asem).

He realized his nagging about the Awards every year so he refuted future attacks by tweeting “Okay so I know one would say Asem de3 every yr in the VGMA get matter but its not like that @ all, I just have a curious mind that need answer” (unedited tweet from Asem).

His acrimony was the fact that he was excluded from the Artist of the year list, this reporter deduced from his tweets. Although the ‘No more kpayor’ composer had seven nominations, he thinks he deserves diamond rather than the gold served him.

He educated the Board that made up the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominations by specifically outlining who deserves it technically. His tweets about the whole Awards are as follows;
