I’m forced to speak my mind now – Guru

“I don’t care about hits, I’m no more interested in songs for dancing, I am going back to my roots,” the vociferous Rapper, Nana Yaw Adjei Yeboah Maradona known in Showbiz as Guru says he is going back to his root; a style he describes as ‘democracy.’

According to the Rapper, the system in Ghana now has forced him to speak his mind on songs. In 2015, Guru is not particularly concerned about songs for the clubs; his attention will be on addressing issues in the country. “It is time for the brave to speak up. There are so much that should be addressed.” Guru said.

An epitome of the style he is talking about is his ‘democracy’ song. Asking him what sectors of the country he would be addressing or speaking on, Guru said he will speak on all sectors in the country. He will not be concentrating on one sector; he will address every ill in the country.

Fans of Guru are to embrace themselves for a vociferous Guru this year. In his own words “the style has changed this year. Even the way I dress. Now it is t-shirt, shorts and sneakers with long socks.”
