PHOTO: Lifeless body washed ashore at Last Hour Beach (Takoradi)

11044568_788060417943092_9218573279766666336_nLifeless body of a young man who drowned at the last hour beach in Takoradi has been washed ashore.

The deceased who is yet to be identified was believed to have come from the 2BN barracks in Apremdo to the Allan and the Vienna beach with 2 other colleagues.

They were said to be playing with a football in the sea when the ball was shot deep into the sea, and in his attempt to retrieve it, got drowned in the process

The body was washed ashore on Sunday morning arround 8am and was spotted by some keep fit group who prompted www.233times.net .

When www.233times.net called a police officer to notify him, he surprisingly asked this Reporter to call the police emergency line instead.

As at 11am when this Reporter was leaving the scene, the body was lying there with the tide of the sea gradually rising.
