Samini is just tickling Kofi Kinaata – Fans express disappointment

884060295_239361 “Abooowa! Kofi asei h), m3nnhw3, Highgrade Family, Team Move! Y’aay3” this is how Takoradi received the news when Kofi Kinaata was signed by Samini’s Highgrade family. The joy in the region was immeasurable, expectations were very high and the thought of Samini’s shadow covering the Kinaata brand made the fans in chorus sing ‘hallelujah’ to the endorsement.

www.233times.net found out that, aside ‘dumsor,’ names which invoke anger amongst youth in Takoradi (Oil City) is Highgrade Family and Samini. Not that the residents are being ungrateful but are highly disappointed in the lackadaisical management of Kinaata by Highgrade whose CEO is Samini Dagati.On Facebook where the frustration was poured by fans of Kinaata, some shared that, they could have even helped Kinaata with their little support instead of being tickled by Highgrade Family and left confused.

The anger of the people of Takoradi boils down to the fact that, Kinaata was not nominated for ‘New Artiste of the year’ in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Yes, again, the nomination has swerved Kofi Kinaata which makes his chances in future nomination in that category unlikely. The blame is shifted on Samini for his lukewarm management of the budding talent which has made him ‘ghost name’ (difficult to know his brand position) in the industry.

This is what Takoradi, fans and disappointed Highgrade followers are saying;
