Dumsor increasing mental problems in Ghana – Psychologists

Dumsor-Cause-Of-Mental-Disorder-NowHealth sector of Ghana shared a report in which they have stated that the energy crisis all over the nation Dumsor is now causing mental disorder in individuals now.

The dumsor affected so much on the life of a common man and he always remain in tension that one day his job will be flown away due to the energy crisis. Companies are being closed due to energy shortfall. What work will they do if there is no electricity? In the result of this many employees are fired till now. Many are living in the fear that what will happen if their company will kick them out or one day when he will leave his home for work and he will come to know that he is already sent home. Government should do something now individuals are going mad but our government has nothing to do with this dumsor.

The chief psychiatrist at the Accra psychiatric hospital said that the tension of dumsor is making people of every field mad employee and student whatever you are. If you are at home and you don’t have electricity you can’t study in the night and if you are a employee in a company where there is always electricity gone. Why will the company afford work less employees as they are already having loss due to the work stopped by the electricity shortfall? These facts are making the citizen mad the dumsor and such tensions among it is making mental disorder in minds of individuals.
