This ranking is based on Ghanaian Artistes who have inundated the music industry with hit songs back to back since 1998. The number of hit songs, the number of songs on the lips of Ghanaians and the number of songs still being played in the media even up to date are what this ranking is based on.
An astute Radio Personality in the Western Region, Israel Owusu Fordah who is known to be a regular panel on OC Showbiz Review (on Skyy Power 93.5 Mhz), the most listened Entertainment review show in the Western and Central Region ranked the following Artistes in order of the aforementioned criteria;
