The other side of Ada which needs applause

N8RQFocC_400x400Persis Nana Akosua Apea Antwi, who is currently the most talked about person in Ghana now and also know in media as Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka (Ada) has been in the news for the wrong reasons since last week Tuesday but there is another side of her which needs applause.

www.233times.net has attentively observed that, Radio in Takoradi could be generously classified as before and after Ada. She came in the media when there was a usual predictable style amongst Presenters. Media in Takoradi had been tediously repetitious and she came in with a totally different style; the Nigerian pidgin delivery which made her attract a lot of audience.

On the most listened radio programme then, ‘Sister Talk’ on Melody FM, her former employers before Y FM, every Friday when people gather to discuss what was discussed on the programme the night before, Ada’s statements mostly trended. She was poached by Y FM from Melody FM because she had virtually built a constituency for herself and putting her on a new radio station for the young and young at heart was obviously recommendable.

As to whether she came in radio with a masked name, there are a lot of Presenters and DJs who are not using their biological names in media. The focus should be the alleged staged kidnap and gang-rape and not the name used.

  1. If it is found out that the gang-rape was staged managed then this lady is a die hard criminal. Going nude completely before strangers with one atop you and others taking pictures of the act needs extra courage.
