In the wake of reviewing the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2014 which rewards musicians for their display under the year of review, it has received several bashing from industry experts and critics in the country.
One of the promising industry dudes who goes by the name Saviour Kweku Adzika in Takoradi, known in Showbiz as Sayvee, who is a Ghanaian Artiste and Performer, has added his voice to the critics seeking to improve the music industry.
According to the twin city artiste, Sayvee has extended a warm hand of congratulation to the headline sponsor Vodafone Ghana and Charterhouse, for having the confidence in the Ghanaian music industry to invest such huge capital to sustain the industry in the country.
Observing the displeasures expressed by colleges in music industry, Sayvee has called on Sakordie and Shatta Wale to exhibit calmness whiles seeking to vent their spleen.
It would be recalled that, the top artiste who are seeking to make waves when it comes to their talent, Sarkordie and Shatta, have expressed their displeasure towards the headline sponsors and organisers for not giving them their due, as what is expected to be paid them for their performances and the value they bring to the musical game in the country.
According to Charterhouse, Sarkodie was billed to perform on the night and yet pulled out due to breakdown of negotiation between charterhouse and management team of Sarkodie. Shatta Wale is said to have supported Sarkordie in the wake of declining the proposed amount offered by Charterhouse.
Sayvee had his early education at Naval Base Basic School in Takoradi. He had his secondary education at Ghana Secondary Technical School (G.S.T.S) also in Takoradi.
He then proceeded to the University of Ghana (Legon) where he read BSc. Soil Science. He is currently pursuing MBA at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
In music, Sayvee has worked with giants like Sarkodie, Tinny, Castro, Keche, Quata and Atsu Koliko among others. He has also worked with renowned Producers like Hammer, Kaywa, Ephraim, Willis Beat, Henry, Still Vibz, Infectious, Ragoon, Nosway, etc.
Sayvee is currently promoting his new singles, “Woei-Soh.” and ‘Toma Wondzi.’ ‘Woei-soh and has urged all and sundry (regardless of religious affiliation) to hold on to their faith.
