Man burnt for stealing pig

ghana-policeThe Ahafo Kenyase Division of the Ghana Police Service has caged 3 persons for allegedly burning a man suspected of stealing their pig.

The three whose names were given as Kwame Manu 45, Felicity Adusei 40 and 18 year old Kenneth Obinim were said to have organised a mob to beat Kwaku Boateng mercilessly in a nearby bush, on Sunday 3rd May on mere suspicion that he had stolen their pig.

After he fell unconscious from the beating, the mob lit fire on him to lastly eradicate him from the surface of the earth, Nhyiraba Kwabena Gyam, News Editor Anapua Fm at Ahafo Kenyase told The New Crusading GUIDE.

According to him, the victim miraculously emerged from the bushes last Friday 8th May almost a week of the incidence with a frightening burnt and decaying body to make a case against the three who were later picked by the Police for questioning and investigations.

He said the Police told the media on Friday they would process the three for court today with attempted murder charge.

However members of the mob hired to perpetuate such criminality are at large but the police led by Chief Inspector Sankara assured the populace of bringing them to book.

Kwaku Boateng believed to be in the mid 30’s is currently receiving treatment at the Sunyani Government Hospital in the Brong Ahafo region.

All efforts to contact Chief Inspector Sankara to confirm or deny the story has proven futile. Stay tuned
