“I have never changed the complexion of my skin” – David Oscar to Yvonne Nelson

e30dc209f8c8e745995216330c8c2ae3_LComedian David Oscar  has hit back at Yvonne Nelson who sought to question his nationality because he disagreed with her organization of a vigil dubbed ‘dumsormuststop’ against the government.

Yvonne Nelson, in a tweet, had said:

What a shame! Is David Oscar Ghanaian? Does he live in Gh?” In reply, David Oscar, in a three minute video said “Yes, I am a Ghanaian …and I have never changed the complexion of my skin.”

The entertainer’s reference to complexion was a dig at Yvonne Nelson who through bleaching has transformed the pigmentation of her skin from coffee brown to a fairer colour.

Many believe in light of the comment that Yvonne made about David, the reply he gave her was apt.

Some so-called personalities led by Yvonne Nelson have decided to stage a vigil dubbed ‘dumsormuststop’ against government. However, many of their colleagues disagree with them, arguing that the vigil does not offer any solution to the crises.

Some have also argued that the crisis is not the creation of President Mahama and therefore he must be given enough time to solve it permanently.

Yvonne nelson has come under pressure from many Ghanaians who have taken to her twitter page to condemn her. Unable to withstand the avalanche of criticism, she has resorted to blocking many of her critics.

In the meantime, one Edem Agbona, twitting on Yvonne’s page asked her to stop being vulgar and learn to be tolerant. This was after she had used unprintable words after he said will not be part of the vigil.
