Only slaves are buried at Castle; give us Atta Mills’ body – Family

199098hp2A brother of late President John Evans Atta Mills, Paul Ackom has said on Skyy Power FM’s Jolly Breakfast Show (JBS) that he suspects foul play in the death of his brother,  President Mills who died whilst a sitting President of the Republic on 24th July, 2012.

Mr. Ackom said only slaves are buried at the Castle saying that “Castle is a burial ground for slaves who died as they awaited their shipment abroad. Mills has a family pedigree and not a slave to be buried at a place where slaves were buried” and questioned why late Vice President, Aliu Mahama, Kwame Nkrumah and others were not buried at the Castle but in their various hometowns. He is therefore demanding the body of the late President as soon as possible since there is a ready land for his reburial in his hometown EKumfi Otuam.

When Omanbapa Kofi Amoah was speaking to him on phone, he said the family was in a meeting about the incident and ended the call abruptly.

He refuted the claims by Cadman Mills that his brother died of stroke and demanded a post-mortem on the remains of his brother.
