He was attacked on Monday morning.

Former Assemblyman of the Nkonya Ntonda, Mr Sylvester Akompi who narrated the incident to Citi News Gratham Mckintosh said; upon hearing, a gunshot they traced it to the farm of the chief adding that “before they got there, they saw his lifeless body lying down.”He said they quickly informed the Police about what had happened.

The Hohoe Divisional crime office, ASP Edward Tetteh Otumi confirmed the incident to Citi News and said they have already begun investigations.

Several people have been killed while others have lost their properties in a sixty-year-old protracted land dispute between the two feuding towns; Alavanyo and Nkonya.
