Late Fennec case study: Reggie Rockstone shouldn’t take Promzy’s threat as a joke

indexUnless it is a publicity stunt to get the struggling Promzy Afrika brand on his feet, this Reggie-Promzy feud is not funny and something to joke with.

I remember listening to an interview where Fennec Okyere of blessed memory shared that, he has been receiving threatening text messages and he confidently said on air that, nobody can do anything to him. Sadly, Fennec is not part of the living because he had trusted his defenses and downplayed the threats, an impression we had from afar.

Is Promzy Afrika enjoying his Facebook comments and using it as a springboard to prove his ‘gangsterness?’ The law has a way of cutting off the wings of every gangster; ask Kwaw Kese.

It was early morning when Jacquiline sent me a munched post of Promzy Afrika on Facebook. She wasn’t sure that would come from the Promzy we had admired growing up, she was thinking it was a pseudo account that had posted that but to her surprise, I confirmed to her that, it was from the former member of VIP. “Really?” she asked in dismay.

Whatever is making Promzy behave or act like he is doing is extreme, indeed, the devil finds work for the idle hands. Ever since he left the group, if not poking Reggie Rockstone, no medium remembered he even existed, simply put; Promzy was the least the media focused on after he left the group.

In his latest post, he is seen gun shopping which some blogs are preoccupied with fueling the beef so he is also tempted to post more, again to prove his gangsterness. Go ahead young!

Should anything happen to Reggie Rockstone (God forbid though), the first name and suspicion would be Promzy Afrika, Emmanuel (pray God be with you). Even though in the post where he captioned it “Your mother go burry you, keep running you mouth#Promzyafrika,” he didn’t mention Reggie Rockstone like he did in his post revealing his silence but the media had dragged Reggie Rockstone in the post.

People are convinced that, if Promzy updates with threatening posts, the reference is the grandpapa of hiplife (Reggie Rockstone). That is how extreme this case has gotten to. If civilians have started reading meaning into any post of Promzy with Reggie Rockstone’s name as the reference then he should stop being ‘childish’ for social media credibility.

Reggie Rockstone’s response is the most matured I have ever witnessed from any beef in Ghana since 2000 and that should even make Promzy find another avenue to relaunch his struggling career.

Many posit that, and I support, there are deeper stories associated with Promzy’s departure from VIP and Reggie’s inclusion making the group VVIP, Promzy is not handling the case well, since he is putting himself up for legal visit any soon, should the grandpapa suffer even a prolonged headache.

Promzy, what happened to the rumour that you were about to become a Pastor? Another story for another day but if you have not learnt anything at all, surf online and read all the brouhaha surrounding the death of Fennec Okyere, Kwaw Kese’s former Manager and those who were invited and remanded because of one of two words they told the late Manager of The Dome (Fennec Okyere) and take a clue from it.

We care as fans and we want peace and sanity in Ghana Showbiz as well.

Praaah!
