After expired tenure: I can’t sack myself – Shama DCE

3859502766488_7439131928556Even though the tenure of office of the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Shama, Enoch Kojo Appiah has expired, the DCE is still in office.

The DCE’s tenure expired on 13th July, 2015 but as at the time this report was filed, he was in his office in Shama, he tells Omanabapa Kofi Amoah, host of Skyy Power FM’s Jolly Breakfast Show (JBS) in Takoradi.

According to Hon. Kojo Appiah, until an official letter is given him asking him to leave office, he would still continue serving the people of Shama.

Speaking on JBS today, Kojo Appiah maintains that, other DCEs who are out of office have received official letters asking them to put down their tools which he has not received such a letter asking him to leave office so there is no reason why he should leave his post.
