Stonebwoy changing his stage name? He reacts

stonebwoy-11-620x412Rumor is fast spreading that winner of “Best International Act – Africa” at the just the 15 edition of BET Awards is considering changing his showbiz name from Stonebwoy to King Shaka.

But the award winning artist has stated emphatically onNEAT FM’s Entertainment Ghana that there is no truth about his alleged change of name.

According to him, he only passed the comment that – “I will even respond to the name ‘King Shaka’” during an interview Accra-based YFM but whether to completely scrub his internationally known name to ‘King Shaka’ will be impossible.

“I am not changing my name from Stonebwoy to King Shaka. Just like anyone having other nicknames aside their original names, I will also respond to the name King Shaka but I am not sticking to that” he said on NEAT FM

The Ghana Music Awards [GMA] artist of the year finally touched down in Ghana after his trip to the States and South Africa.

In South Africa, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Samini were nominated for the 10th edition of MTV Africa Music Awards [MAMA] but lost out in their respective categories.
