P.V. Obeng’s wife appeals for financial and emotional support

a17gx33wwr_mahama2Wife of late Paul Victor Obeng is appealing for financial and emotional support for widows in the country. According to Mrs. Rose Obeng, most women suffer exploitation, deprivation and exclusion when their husbands die thus her call.

She made the appeal at the one year memorial service of her late husband, PV Obeng at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tema.

Mrs. Obeng noted that becoming a widow is a very challenging moment in any woman’s life hence the need for psychological support to face the painful loss for the rest of their lives.

“It has not been easy for her to lose her husband knowing how she sourced her strength from him in many areas” she added.

Mrs. Rose Obeng called on families to support widows because they become caregivers and heads of households when their husbands are gone.
