The Vice president, Kwesi Amissah Arthur has picked nomination forms for President John Mahama to contest in the presidential primaries of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Should President Mahama win the upcoming primaries, it would mark his second time of leading the party.
His vice today picked the forms on his behalf at the party’s national headquarters in Adabraka. Mr. Amissah Arthur was welcomed by party officials and supporters.
Aside the president, Mr. George Boateng has also picked nomination forms to contest in the November 7th presidential primaries. The decision according to Mr. Boateng is borne out of Mahama’s difficulty in running the country.
