PHOTOS: How the Starbow Airline crash-landed at Tamale

Starbow flight S9 100 from Accra to Tamale overshot the runway on Tuesday morning at the Tamale Airport while landing.

The plane, according to passengers onboard, experienced some problems while landing causing the aircraft to crash through the runway’s barricade until it stopped.

Images available to Peacefmonline.com show gas masks hanging in the plane while the front tyres broke into the cockpit.

A statement issued later on by Starbow’s Chief Executive officer, James Eric Antwi, described the incident as “minor”.
