I regret insulting Nana Addo – NDC serial caller

Nana-2-620x330A National Democratic Congress (NDC) serial caller and kayayo (head porter) in Accra, Adiza Isaaku, has confessed having been coached by the ruling party’s propaganda team to heap tonnes of insults on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to the serial caller, she was asked to insult Nana Addo in exchange for freebies like a house and a car.

Adiza, who is the current president of the Ghana Association of Head Porters, confessed that she played a major role in maligning the NPP flagbearer because of what she had been promised.

Although one of the promises was said to have been fulfilled by the NDC, the serial caller, popularly known as Adiza Zongo Pioneer, regrets joining the  party’s propaganda team set up to attack and ensure that Nana Addo was brought down.

“I went on my knees and prayed to Allah to forgive me. Nana Addo had done nothing bad to me and I regret being insubordinate to him. I tried my best to get to him and apologise for all I have done. He accepted it and this was what motivated me to retire from the NDC to join the NPP,” she told peacefmonline.

According to her, “Life isn’t all about money; it is also about respect for God and fellow human beings. Money can’t buy happiness if I had followed the NDC to do something against the teachings of Prophet Mohammed.”

She claims that even if the promises had been fulfilled, she knows she would have one day lived to regret the life she led.

She stated: “I was always fed with mobile phone credits and my mission was to phone in during political radio discussions to insult Nana Addo. We were trained by some members in the NDC on how to insult the flagbearer of the NPP in subtle ways.”

Adiza Zongo continued, “The NDC likes evil; their mission is to see evil flourish. Are they telling us that we should condone bad things and should not talk about them because we have suspended our chairman who is from the north? This is improper and they must repent from their ways.”
