Dr. Rawlings’ eligibility as Ghanaian voter challenged

1434A legal practitioner Gary Nimako has written to the electoral commission seeking to find out if NDC parliamentary candidate-elect Dr Zanetor Rawlings is a registered voter in Ghana.

The letter is also demanding the EC to provide information on when the name of the daughter of former president Jerry Rawlings was entered in Ghana’s electoral roll, if indeed she is a registered voter.

The request comes on the back of rumors that the Klottey Korle Parliamentary candidate for the NDC is not a registered voter in the country. Electoral officials failed to identify her name in the just ended parliamentary primaries of the ruling party.

In the brief letter to the EC, Mr Nimako also requested the EC to furnish him with the certified copy of the register which contains the details of the NDC candidate.
