images-john4_586452433Actor, John Dumelo who was called to present the Best Actress and Actor In a Supporting Role at the 2015 Ghana Movie Awards seized the opportunity to campaign for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

John Dumelo stated that the government’s promise to end the erratic power supply that has engulfed the country for the past three years has been fulfilled, adding that 2016 will be an exciting year for the nation and it’s populace.

“We told you we were going to end dumsor and we did. 2016 is going be an exciting year,”he indicated.

John Dumelo has not hidden his affiliation to the NDC. In 2012, he demonstrated his support for the party when he appeared in a TV commercial for then candidate John Dramani Mahama. The actor was present at the NDC’s “Changing Lives, Transforming Ghana” campaign at the Jubilee Park in the Volta region in 2015.
