SnG Foundation of Hope – Canada, is a non-profit organization with the goals of creating and distributing educational materials and devices for the development of education in Africa.
As part of their projects, the foundation in collaboration with the Ankrah Foundation – Ghana, donated 30pieces of Toshiba laptops and many assorted books to the Kwegyir Aggrey Senior Technical School located at Anomabo in the Central Region – Ghana.
A co-founder of the SnG Foundation of Hope – Canada, Mr. Gideon Ankrah made it known that this is their second donations project. “Last time, we donated to the Bomaa Senior High School at Sunyani, Brong Ahafo Region – Ghana, which was our first and this time Kwegyir Aggrey our second. In fact more projects are coming up as we target Africa as a whole.” – He said.
Mr. Ambrose Ankrah, the CEO of Ankrah Foundation – Ghana, a collaborate to these projects made it more clear that Kwegyir Aggrey is the beneficiary because as a community member, he cannot be a part of such a project without affecting his community.
The authorities and students of the school was found to joy as they thanked the benefactors with much appreciation. Mrs. Susan Manu, the assistant headmistress also in charge of academics revealed, it was a set good time the two foundations came up to them with their donations. She said, “Teaching and learning of ICT is a difficult task here. Students don’t get enough computers to access when it’s time for lessons and we ask for more.”
Finally, Mr. Gideon Ankrah mentioned and thanked his good partner and co-founder of the foundation and projects, Mr. Michael Sarfo who has contributed much. He also thanked Boachie Shipping Co. Ltd – Canada, for making the shipment of the items possible and for free as a gesture to promote the donations.
