He was once the voice that the whole of Western and Central Regions woke up to on Skyy Power FM’s flagship programme ‘Jolly Breakfast Show’. Even though his talkative self has not been completely lost in the two Regions, his voice is now redirected to the corridors of the Electricity Company of Ghana’s Western Regional Office as the Head of Public Relations of the power distributor. Philip Osei Bonsu, the admirable Broadcast Journalist and Corporate Communications Professional is set to tie the knot with his girlfriend of many years on 20th February, 2016 at the Church of Pentecost, Fijai Assembly, Takoradi at 10 am.
The fiancée of Philip Osei Bonsu whose name is given as Linda Ayisi–Addo is a Senior Staff Nurse at the Bibiani Government Hospital in the Western Region of Ghana. The wedding which has found its way on social media is hyped with the hashtag #Boys2Men by Mr. Osei Bonsu’s media colleagues and former classmates.

Mr. Philip Osei Bonsu is a Corporate Communications Professional by training and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, UK. He is currently Head of Public Relations for the Electricity Company of Ghana in the Western Region. Philip also boasts of over seven (7) years working experience in the media as a broadcaster and a brand’s manager. Prior to his current appointment, he was the Programs Manager of Skyy Power fm and doubled as the host of Western Region’s biggest breakfast show, the Jolly Breakfast Show on Skyy. He currently hosts Skyy Power fm’s weekend news analysis program, News Review, on part-time basis. He also sits on the board of Western Waste Limited, a subsidiary of Zoomlion Ghana Limited.
Philip is also the founder and CEO of OBPR Consult. A Public Relations Consulting firm that provides public relations advice and strategic communications services to clients. He was recently named with 29 other young Ghanaians as a young achiever in the 2015 edition of the ‘Newaccra Achievers Report’. Newaccra.com is Ghana’s leading success and personal development brand. Philip is a Tullow Scholar who holds an MSc in Corporate Communication and Public Affairs from the Aberdeen Business School of the Robert Gordon University, UK.
