Sayvee endorses VGMA

Sayvee-620x400While some artistes have been criticising the 2016 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), others are happy and are even applauding the biggest music award ceremony in Ghana.

Takoradi-based Sayvee is one of those commending Charterhouse for the VGMA. He has shown gratitude to the VGMA’s board for nominating his fellow artistes from the Western Region of Ghana Nero X, Kofi Kinaata and Pappy Kojo.

He said, “Indeed, hardwork pays! It’s no surprise to me having come across the various nominations accrued by my brothers. I am yet to launch my corporate brand and yet I get lots of positive comments and impression across board with regard to the efforts behind the branding initiatives…. Truly hardwork pays and I am delighted that Charterhouse has made that clear as part of the 2016 VGMA arrangements by way of acknowledging all the hardwork put in place by Nero X, Kofi Kinaata and Pappy Kojo.”

“My brothers have really worked around the clock tirelessly to hit this mark. It’s imperative to reiterate that Western Region has got more talented young guys in a line-up that Ghana should watch out for,” he added.

Born Kwaku Adzika, Sayvee is a rising star from Takoradi. He has songs like ‘Woei Soh’, ‘Toma Wondzi’, Fantefo Na Brofoa’, ‘You Are A Fool To Me’, ‘1 Ghana’ and ‘Today Be Today.’
He previously worked with top artistes like Sarkodie, Tinny, Castro, Keche, Quata, Atsu Koliko, among others.

He also worked with renowned producers like Hammer, Kaywa, Ephraim, Willis Beat, Still Vibz, Infectious, Ragoon, Nosway and a host of others.
He is currently pursuing an MBA at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science &Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi and also working on his new single titled ‘Obolo Lady’.

He has collaborated with Sarkodie and Jupiter on two new songs which he will be releasing in the course of the year. He didn’t file nomination because “there’s time for everything,” Sayvee reiterated.
