Gospel Musicians are trying to work extra hard to surpass Satan- OJ

OJ, Ghanaian gospel musician in an interview has revealed that gospel musicians are in keen competition with Satan. The ‘Maye Se Mopen’ hit maker said the devil was once the best singer in heaven so it pains him when gospel musicians are trying to work extra hard to surpass him.
Song writer and inspirational gospel singer Michael Oware Sakyi popularly known as OJ has said that gospel musicians are in competition with Satan so must be supported with prayers.
He told Flex newspaper in a conversation during the week that, gospel musicians wrestle not with flesh and blood but with the power of darkness and the wicked principalities in heavens above.

OJ continued that, his reasons for saying that is that, as we all know whom Satan was and what he used to do in the heavens as the Scripture makes us understand, Satan was the best singer, leader and conductor of music among the Angels of God. No one on the earth or in the heavens could sing better than Satan, he could sing for God Himself to rise from His Throne. Satan then had to be thrown down on earth for his arrogance, as we all know.

“So whoever wants to sing gospel must know that, he or she wants to be in competition with Satan, and for that matter will face a lot of challenges because that was what he used to do and you want to take over from him. There is no way he will let you go scot free. He will frustrate and attack you by making sure you fall from the Grace of God so that he can destroy your ministration. I therefore entreat every gospel musician to watch his or her ways, and flee from evil. We must be careful and be vigilant as the serpent so we are not tempted. Satan is wild searching for gospel musicians to devour, but I know God on our side we will succeed and we shall be victorious” OJ lamented.

“I also call on our various churches to remember us in prayers; I wish they could set prayer weeks for our gospel musicians and intercede for us. Don’t get disappointed hearing some bad news about gospel musicians but rather intercede for them and protect them so you do not allow yourselves to be used by satan to destroy them more. Encourage us, motivate us and pray we do not fall into temptation. I know with your prayers and support, satan will fail” OJ called on Christians.
