Tiwa Savage and TJ may remain legally married for next 18-months or more

tee-billz-and-tiwa-360nobs‘It’s finally over. It’s been over for a while and I’ve covered up for a while. I think what happened is God-sent because he’s made it easy for me to walk away because of what he did on social media.’

Those were the words of Tiwa Savage confirming the end of her 2-year marriage to Tunji‘Teebillz’ Balogun.

But there’s a twist.

While there’s practically no evidence online that they had a court wedding, sources inside the Mavin camp insist the pair did have a secret court wedding, so Tiwa’s next line of action is probably to begin divorce proceedings.

With Nigerian courts notorious for their delays, this process may take a long time.

‘If there are no complications they can wrap it up in about 18 months, which is considered fast considering our judicial system. But if they are disputing the divorce and/or fighting for custody it may take longer’

‘Tiwa is really eager to get the marriage over with’ a source told us.

However it seems hard to imagine considering the accusations and counter-accusations what frame of mind her hubby, Teebillz is in.
