The voices of Ghanaians have been heard on several platforms either condemning Ken Agyapong’s statement or defending him. Several lawyers have given their interpretations to the owner of Oman Fm, Ken Agyapong’s “declaration of war if the police is not up and doing”.
One person whose voice is trending on the Social Network, Facebook, over this statement of the business capo cum politician Mr. Agyapong is Kwame A Plus. The songster who is famous for his political songs addressing the issues of politics has alarmed the country over his thoughts of Ken’s statement. On 17th April, 2012, a day after the Assin North Member of Parliament was invited by the Bureau of Natioanl Investigation (BNI), A Plus updated his status about the brouhaha.
“What came into Ken Agyapong’s head before he declared war? War? War? Like Liberia and Rwanda? NPP people should kill Ewes? Ethnic cleansing? Including Perry Okudzeto and all the NPP people who are Ewes? No does Ken know Afi and all those fine fine Ewe girls are NPP? Who in this country travels with an Ashanti passport or Dagati passport? Don’t we all travel with a Ghana passport? Nana Addo is busy campaigning in the Volta Region to maximize votes, someone is sitting in Accra asking people in Ashanti to kill the same people Nana wants votes from. I don’t get the logic in this. If you get to certain position, you must know how to talk. Calling for war in Ghana is pure foolishness!!!” an unedited update of A Plus’ Facebook had this statement. Friends of A Plus had several comments about what the musician had written praising him about his voice over that.
If you are a friend of A Plus, the Nana Addo sympathizer, check his facebook update or add him, ‘Kwame A Plus’ on Facebook.
