Man found hanged at Tema

894bf-76A young man believed to be in his 30s has been found dead at Tema, hanging from a tree along the Nungua-Tema road.

According to citizen journalist Osofo Ansong, who broke the news to Chief Jerry Forson on Accra100.5FM’s breakfast show, Ghana Yensom, on Wednesday June 1, the young man was discovered Wednesday morning as commuters made their way to work on the route just before the Mighty Beach at Tema.

However, he said onlookers suspected foul play as the tree from which the man hanged was no more than four feet in height, with the man in a squatting posture, with his feet touching the ground.

According to him, many onlookers did not know the young man and believed he was killed at a different location and conveyed by his killers to the scene and hanged to create the impression that he had committed suicide.

The scene created traffic jam on the busy road, but the Sakumono Police arrived there to ensure normalcy on the road.
