The Actor died morning of Monday, 1st August, 2016 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, according to deep throat. He was 87 years .

Biography of George Willaims

One of the pioneers of the Ghanaian movie industry, the ‘Ultimate Paradise’ actor is known for his grandpa roles in movies.

George Williams taught at the Accra Film School for some time. He has been off the screens for some time now.

Apart from Ultimate Paradise series, he featured in well-known productions like ‘Bloody Kids’, Mama, Dogo Yaro and a host of others.

Affectionately called Uncle George, George Williams was married with five children.

The British-trained actor was arguably an unrivaled authority in film-making.
