Ken Agyapong donates cars to Ashanti NPP

storyMember of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region, Kennedy Agyapong, has presented four pickup vehicles to the Ashanti Regional branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for its campaign ahead of the December elections.

The move is aimed at assisting the NPP to embark on a vigorous campaign and win more votes to make Nana Akufo-Addo, the party’s standard bearer, to win this year’s presidential election.

Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Wontumi, the regional Chairman of the NPP, made the disclosure during the campaign launch of the Ahafo Ano North Constituency branch of the party at Tepa on Sunday.

The event, dubbed ‘People’s Forum,’ was organized by Kumasi-based radio station – Ashh FM – and it was attended by NPP kingpins across the country.

Kennedy Agyapong, who is actively pepping up the NPP campaign across the country, came all the way from Assin Central to Tepa to be part of the historic event.

Wontumi commended him for his kind gesture, noting that the vehicles had

come at the right time. He said that they (vehicles) would be used to campaign at every nook and cranny of the region.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman said the NPP is determined to snatch the Ahafo Ano North seat from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) this year, urging party faithful to make unity their watchword.

He entreated every Ghanaian who is experiencing economic hardships to vote massively for the NPP because the party has antidotes to Ghana’s socio-economic problems.
