“I am mistaken for Sarkodie all the time” Sarkodie-look-alike reveals ‘discomfort’

gv8plyrigu0hbj58sn84d9t1o3s7e2vbReaders would have added this picture to their Sarkodie gallery if this Reporter had not poked them he is not Sarkodie but a-look-alike. Indeed this confirms the popular Fante parlance that “every human being was made in ‘twos’”

Revealing to www.233times.net , Hameed Kweku Kakra Baidoo (Faya) mentioned that, he is always mistaken for Sarkodie all the time. “I remember one day when I was in a queue at 37 Station to board a ‘trotro’ home after work. Immediately I joined the queue, all eyes directed to me. I was wondering if it was me or I was reading the sights wrongly”

He further spewed that “Anytime I go to the mall, people rush to me wanting to take pictures with me and I tell them, this is Faya not Sarkodie”.

Asking whether the unnoticeable resemblance makes him uncomfortable, Faya said it is a two-edged sword since it comes with its pros and cons. “Sometimes, I get things free of charge if the seller is an ardent fan of Sarkodie and other times too, I am not able to do things I use to do”

‘Faya-Sark’ as this Reporter calls him is a member of Team Sarkodie, the online working force behind the BET Award winner, Sarkodie.

Fred, the president of Team Sarkodie jovially said “we are even working on a movie with Faya and Sarkodie”. He said there are pictures the Team have that he cannot see the difference between Sarkodie and Faya.

Honestly, did you see the difference when you first saw it? Let us hear your comments.

  1. I really know Sarkodie very well, so i can”t get myself confused with Faya”s look by calling him sarkodie, not to talk of taking pictures with him as Sarkodie.
