Why I hugged Shatta Wale at last year’s MVAs – Stonebwoy reveals

3995654927980_3915246680327BET winner Stonebwoy in a latest interview with 4Syte TV Music Video Awards diaries has disclosed why he hugged Shatta Movement Capo Shatta Wale at their MVAs last year.

The Trouble singer in his 4Syte TV MVA diaries section revealed he did that to indicate the dominance of the Afro Dancehall genre was achieved by the whole Dancehall community.

“I realized a few moments he entered that he was sitting a few rows behind me. I dropped all my ego and tried waving to him. It’s not about egos, I don’t have anything to be acting anyhow. I turned back saw him and waved at him and he gave the sign acknowledging my wave. That was the time I was going to outdoor my BET and that was memorable to.

“I didn’t do it for him and I did it for all of us. Even Samini wasn’t there but I mentioned his name. I even went back to mention artists that contributed to Reggae Dancehall. They are the foundations so that was a free hearted action I made to acknowledge our genre of music.
