The food seller, Afia Tettehwaa, narrated to Joy News that a construction worker, Kofi Annan, who she has not seen in the area before approached her pleading to be given some balls of kenkey and fish which he would pay for at the end of the month when he was paid.

She said he looked pitiful so she agreed and Mr Annan received the daily a package of kenkey and fish at GH¢7 for 30 days but when he was approached at the end of the month for the money he said he has not been paid.

He said they have started an investigation into the matter before taking any action.
