“When I look at my brother, I feel pity for him” – Prez. Mahama’s elder brother

861463540_7526The elder brother of President John Dramni Mahama, Alfred Mahama says it saddens him considering what his brother (John) is going through as First Gentleman just to see Ghanaians live comfortably.

When I look at my brother, I feel pity for him. It’s very sad”.

He explained that, his brother inherited the most shambolic “system” as President but his good efforts is turning things upside down for good governance.

For him [President Mahama], what came hitting him when he became President, I don’t think any President has found himself in that situation. Systems put in place for a very long time started breaking down. Electricity among others,” he said.

Adding that, “ . . so he found himself in a hot place not that he created that. I applaud him for curbing the situation during his tenure”.

In an interview with OKAY FM’s Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie on his morning show ‘Ade Akye Bia’, Alfred couldn’t hide his joy for the remarkable successes chalked by the President – “I feel so proud of him. He is able to face this political difficulties and he has come out quite well.”

He however urged the electorate to maintain his brother to continue with his good works – “I only hope he gets the next four years”.
