Sekondi/Takoradi : Goat thief lynched (DISTURBING PHOTO)

IMG-20161106-WA0022-660x330A young man who is suspected to have stolen a Goat at Kansaworado, a farming community in the Sekondi/ Takoradi Metropolis has been beaten to death.

 

The victim whose name has been given as Kobby a.k.a Confidence, about 30 years was allegedly arrested with his booty in the community on Sunday morning, Nov 6 at around 10am.

 

An eye Witness who wants to remain anonymous tells YOURS IN THE INDEFATIGABLE SERVICE OF GHANA, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson in a telephone conversation the suspect was severely beaten by unknown persons believed to be residents who accosted him and dragged him to the Junction leading to the Community and placed the goat beside him.

 

Soon after he was abandoned, he gave up the ghost whilst the live goat still lay by him.

 

Later in the afternoon around 2pm, news got to his parents who rushed to the scene with an ambulance to convey the body after the police had arrive to take a report.

 

His step dad who gave his name as Charles insist their relative is not a thief and that, he suspects a foul play.

 

Police investigation continues.
