Prez. Akufo-Addo has not bought new vehicles – Presidency

nana-addo-inspects-gaurd-of-honour-6Head of Transport and Logistics at the Presidency Nana Oppong has dispelled claims that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has purchased new luxurious vehicles from Dubai.

Reports are that the Presidency has purchased 56 new presidential vehicles which are yet to be imported to the country.

Many believe the President is just throwing dust in the eyes of the public by instructing his appointees not to buy new cars yet he has.

But speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show, ‘Ghana Montie’, the Head of Transport and Logistics at the presidency says there is no truth in the reportage as alleged.

The president has not bought any cars from anywhere. The president is still using his personal Benz,” he said.
