As a media practitioner, I often get calls and text messages from people asking about news updates and also Up and Coming Artistes and talents who want to know updates of events. A quintessential was when an Artiste asked me about the date of an event which came off two weeks earlier. “As an Artiste, there are some people on social media you should have them as friends or better yet follow. You should sleep on their pages” I advised him. This story is therefore influenced by the advice I gave the Artiste.
