Management of Aya, Kopris Records organises press soiree for Sekondi-Takoradi media + Addresses social media furore

Swedish based record label, Kopris Records, new managers of Takoradi based duo, Aya has organised a press soiree for media people in Sekondi-Takoradi.
The soiree which was to get familiar with the media personalities in the Oil City was held at Vienna Beach on Sunday 12th November, 2017. An evening of informal interactions with the media coupled with drinking and feasting, Kopris Records shared a branded t-shirt of their newly signed duo, Aya.
According to the management of the duo, Aya has been signed for a period of 5 years. Speaking to Kopris Records, Daniel Tay told www.233times.net that Aya is planned for Europe tour next summer.
Via their active Facebook page, the managers of Aya expressed their profound gratitude to the media personalities who were present at the soiree.
On Monday social media went agog when posts online suggested that Kopris Records’ soiree was a mini party that did not have any details for those present except to wine and dine. Speaking to Albert Kwofie, a management member of Aya, he said “when sending out invite it could happen that we forget some that doesn’t mean that they are not welcomed. Everyone present was attended to and spoken to. We had table for the DJs and Presenters so we went to speak to everyone at the various tables. We had a list of the invited people so we spoke to all the invited people and even those who were not on the list. If you were present and sat at where we arranged for those invited, you would be spoken to.”
In attendance were astute media personalities who are known across the city for their expertise in the field such as J.M Caesar, Feeling Daddy, DJ Bibini, Kwamena Amponsah, DJ Mike, DJ Tablet, TJDJ,Dj Mauli, Dj Wasty amongst others.
