The 23 suspected prostitutes who were arrested by the Cantonments police last Sunday night have been fined GH¢11,040 by an Accra Magistrate Court.

Police reports have indicated that the convicts, dressed in miniskirts, tight pairs of trousers and shorts, and strap straddled as blouses, thus revealing their body parts and shapes, jump into the streets to peep through any vehicle that moves on those sections of the roads and harass diplomats.

According to reports, Jennifer Kennedy, who is said to have a nine-year-old son, locked up the boy in the room and left to practise her trade.

After her arrest, the police had to break into the apartment to free the boy.

The court has asked the police to hand the foreigners over to the Ghana Immigration Service for possible deportation.
