Multiple award winning Artiste, Kofi Kinaata met Hon. Anthony K.K. Sam, the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) yesterday 11th December, 2017 to brief him on his 23rd December ‘Made in Taadi Concert.’
Speaking to MCE at the STMA Office in Sekondi, Kofi Kinaata said “This concert is to help project the up and coming Artistes who would perform there since it would be extensively covered by the media. It is also my Christmas present to the fans who requested for it on social media. Being the maiden edition, we are putting in a lot of work to make sure that the fans have a good time.”
“We are here to tell the lords of the land about the Made in Taadi Concert and humbly ask for any help that the Assembly could support us with. We couldn’t have done this concert without informing the MCE so we came to inform the MCE and also for any support that you could help us with” the Public and Media Relations Officer of the Made in Taadi Concert, Nana Kwesi Coomson told Hon. Sam.
Hon. K.K Sam who taught Kofi Kinaata English and Fante at the Nana Brempong Yaw Junior High School in Effiakuma expressed in joy seeing one of his Students doing well in the music industry and promised the Assembly’s support for the concert and also added that he will be present at the concert.
“Most of the Artistes like Jewel Ackah, C.K. Mann, and the one who just passed away few months ago, Paapa Yankson are all from here so when you guys go to Accra and remember to come home for have such events, it makes us happy and when you are doing well across the country, we feel proud. The assembly will offer the support that you need to make this concert a successful one” Hon. Sam said.
The Made in Taadi Concert is a 7 hour concert at the Jubilee Grounds in Takoradi. Amongst the Artistes who will perform at the venue include Obrafour, VVIP, Kwaw Kese, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, Nero X, Ayesem, Sayvee, Donzy, Stonebwoy, Snow B, Pappy Kojo, et al.
