Prez. Akufo-Addo has promised a state assisted burial for C.K. Mann – Son reveals

Paul Mann, the last son of highlife legend C. K. Mann has revealed to www.233times.net that President Akufo-Addo has promised a state assisted burial for his father who passed away on 20th March, 2018.
Speaking to www.233times.net at the one week celebration yesterday 6th April at the C.K. Mann Park in Takoradi, Paul Mann said “The President said he is not only a fan of C.K. Mann’s music but a friend. He has promised a state assisted burial for my father.”
“I don’t think we are the ones to push for a state burial. If you live a good life and do good works, your works will speak for you to be given state burial so we are not the ones pushing for a state burial” Paul Mann, an Investment Banker added.
At the one week celebration of King of ‘Osode Highlife,’ the family announced that C.K. Mann would be buried on 14th July, 2018. According to the family, venue and place of burial for C.K. Mann would be announced later.
