Social media usage continues to rise, with the medium now a key part of our connective and interactive process. But while we all know that people are using social more and more, it’s interesting to take a step back and consider just how significant social media usage has become, and which platforms are getting the most comparative attention.
That’s what this new visual from Visual Capitalist id designed to do – they’ve created a new visualization of social media and messaging platforms as planets, and how they would look as a digital solar system.
It’s an interesting way to look at broader social media usage, and how the bigger players dominate the online universe.
