Musicians and their anthems are very common in the current dispensation — of course, Ghana is not left out of the equation.
These are mainly signature songs which help, to a larger extent, the general music lovers to easily identify with the musician.
Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie whose fan-base is known as SarkNation has opted for his song ‘Original’ as their anthem.
This comes after the BET Awards winner asked his fans to choose among ‘Revenge of the Spartans’, ‘Illuminati’, and ‘Original’, the song that qualifies as the anthem of the fan-base.
Following 11,592 votes cast, 62% opted for ‘Original’ as against 24% and 14% for ‘Revenge of the Spartans’ and ‘Illuminati’ respectively.
“Actually SarkNation what’s our anthem ???,” he asked in a tweet.
