Gareth Bale to set world transfer record; is he worth that amount?

1081877_706513279374561_1764319954_nOver the past years, Football has become a very common game, with a lot  of people following it; both the young and Old. One will say the passion derived from football is so amazing that Investors have started sowing seeds into it.

It is a game that unites, puts smiles on the faces of people and also breaks hearts. But what I’m really emphasizing on is the monetary aspect of the game. The last decade has shown how expensive some people are when it comes to this game called ” FOOTBALL” . So I asked are these players really worth the amount placed on them?

All I know or understand is ,for a player to be sold hugely to a Football Club, the said player must have a spectacular skill, must be on top of his game and with a wonderful record. We have seen the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo play and demonstrated his potentials to the world and he has a record fee of £80 million on his head as the most expensive player in the history of football….

Now my main target is ” GARETH BALE, the young chap from Tottenham Hotspurs. He has been the hottest cake in the transfer market this year and still is. Real Madrid is considering a world record fee of about £105 million for his service at Santiago Bernabeu . The question here is, Is Gareth Bale better than Ronaldo or the likes of Neymar ?

I have seen Bale play for Tottenham and he’s a wonderful player, no doubt, but that price tag on him is like buying a ‘Bic’ pen for $100; it’s just not worth it, in my opinion.  I personally think he is not worth such an amount.

Real Madrid knows why they are paying such an amount for him but Ronaldo being the head or Madrid’s key man; I wonder his reaction to such amount.

Note that it’s uncertain as to whether Ronaldo will sign a new deal with Madrid, maybe yes, maybe not especially watching someone over take him, monetarily.

However, no move has been confirmed by Tottenham yet. The question I ask is, ” Are football teams wasting money lately or it’s just the way it should be?

This is my opinion though.
