Online news portal www.233times.net in collaboration with organizers of Western Music Awards, Westline Entertainment are set to paint Egyam Orphanage in the Western Region of Ghana on Saturday 22nd September, 2018.
Speaking to the Chief Executive Officer of Prestige Knight Enterprise, operators of www.233times.net, Nana Kwesi Coomson said “As an organization we take delight in living lasting impact in the lives of people. This is a project that we have taken it up upon ourselves this quarter of the year. We are able to do this with the support of friends of the medium and also some organizations. We are so grateful to everyone for the support/”
Emmanuel Ampaabeng, the Chief Executive Officer of Westline Entertainment added that “We value the lives of everyone around us so we take up this project to also contribute our quota to the society. As event organizers, we don’t only think about what we get but also what we give. Thank you to everyone for their support.”
Ahead of the project on Saturday, the team visited the orphanage to familiarize with the environment. Sister Gladys, the Director of the orphanage which is now under the management of the Catholic Church expressed gratitude to the team for the project that they’ve taken up and said the home is ready to receive them on Saturday.
Dubbed ‘LightUp Egyam Orphanage,’ the project is proudly supported by Corpnation, Minster Brew Ministries, Event Five GH and some individual donors.
