Takoradi: Commercial sex worker stabbed to death by client (DISTURBING PHOTO)

Residents of Chapel Hill in Takoradi woke up early Saturday morning to a bizarre news of a prostitute who have been stabbed to death in her hotel room.

The victim whose name has been given as Vera, a Nigerian is believed to have been stabbed severally in the stomach and abdomen by her assailant at Ridge Way Hotel where she has been lodging for the past five months.

According to a resident of the area who wants to remain anonymous, the Hotel receptionist tells him he heard unusual noise in the victim’s room around 4am and rushed there but he was threatened by the suspect to stay away “The receptionist told me when he knocked on the door, the guy warned him never to come closer or he would stab him but the deceased also opened the door and asked the receptionist to leave and that, she would handle everything herself” the resident narrated to connect FM’s morning show host Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson.

The assailant is reported to have placed the lifeless body on the water closet in the hotel room, locked the door and absconded with the key.

Colleague prostitutes are alleging the client might have refused to pay after the act resulting in the scuffle and the eventual murder.

The lifeless body was found on the water closet when colleague prostitutes together with the receptionist broke the door around 7am after several knocks on the door were not answered.

The body of victim who is believed to be about 27 years has since been conveyed by the police to the Effia Nkwanta Hospital morgue for autopsy whilst police continue thier investigation.

Management of the hotel has since remained tight lipped about the whole incident.
