GRA closes down Group Five Construction Company in Takoradi (PHOTOS)

The Western Regional Head office of Group Five Construction Company in Takoradi has been closed down by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Staffers of the leading African construction, concession and manufacturing company were asked to vacate the premises around 4:20 pm Tuesday 4th December, 2018.
According to the practice of GRA, the company serves companies with demand notices and it is when they refuse to comply with it that they go to the extreme of closing down the company. It is unclear how much Group Five owes the GRA but staffers at the facility were tight-lipped when www.233times.net visited the premises.
For more than one hour, phone calls to the Manager of Group Five, Allan as well as PRO of GRA, Mr. Forson are unanswered.
