Lady Pastor escapes kidnap in Takoradi – Narrates ordeal

A Lady Pastor with one of the popular churches (name withheld) in Sekondi-Takoradi on Saturday 19th January, 2019 was nearly sacrificed by kidnappers at Anaji, a popular suburb in Sekondi-Takoradi.

According to an audio from the husband of the Lady Pastor (who is till in trauma after the harrowing experience with the kidnappers) she was rushing home after a long day of work without food when she fell victim to the kidnappers.

“She had complained of stomach upset because we had worked the whole day and we hadn’t eaten. So she said she’s taking the lead home” husband of the Lady Pastor recounted.

“I went home and my wife was not there. I asked the girl we live with if my wife has come home. She said she thought she will come with me. I then started calling her number. I called several times but no one responded. I sent her message asking her where she was but reply came later that she’s coming. I asked her where she was coming from. There was no reply even though she was online. The reply came 10 minutes later that she is at Queen of Peace area” the husband in the audio which is in possession of www.233times.net narrates.

According to the husband of the Lady Pastor, around 10:09 pm on the said date, as he had parked his car at home and was walking around the Queen of Peace area in search of his wife, he found his wife dumped behind a bar and had become almost a vegetable.

He rushed his wife home and throughout the night, the wife could not speak a word as she jumped into the bed immediately they got home.

According to the husband, the wife is mostly quiet when she’s indisposed so he treated it as one of her indisposed moods.

“So the next day (20th January, 2019), I instructed the girl we live with to make something for my wife and when she entered the room my wife asked for pen and paper and started typing things on her phone for the girl to write on the paper. When I rushed to the room I saw the girl writing somethings from my wife’s phone so I took it and read it.”

“So my wife took a taxi when she complained that she was going home to find something to eat and in the taxi that she took there were two guys who were sitting in the car; one in front and the other behind with my wife. She told the driver that she was going to Queen of Peace area and the driver said that’s the same route he’s going. She blacked out when the car took off. She said she was taken to a dark room where a man was wearing a red ‘jalabia’ with white belt and the man started chanting. The ritualist then asked, who brought the woman here, do you know who she is, take her back!” husband of the kidnapped pastor narrated what her wife was typing on her phone.

“She could still not speak so I called my Bishop and he came to pray for my wife. There were a whole lot of deliverance and manifestations. Not knowing they’ve spiritually tied my wife’s tongue at where they took her to so that she cannot reveal this but the power of God loosed her tongue and she was able to speak after the deliverance” the husband further added.

According to the 17 minutes 43 seconds audio, the husband of the lady Pastor believes the recent kidnapping in Sekondi-Takoradi are for ritual purposes.

This adds to more than 10 kidnap cases in Sekondi-Takoradi since March 2018.

This has led to a nationwide campaign both on social and traditional media with the hashtag #BringBackOurTaadiGirls
